English writing ability is the embodiment of English comprehensive learning ability, which is the performance of students’ English proficiency application. English writing should be consistent with the English language expression habits, in line with the English language way of thinking. However, English is a second language for Chinese students. In the process of learning, English is often influenced by the native language and appears in English language with Chinese thinking. Especially in English writing, Chinese thinking is especially obvious. Academically, this phenomenon is called the transfer of language (Bhela, 1999). Chinese thinking leads to various forms of language errors in English writing which ultimately affect the overall quality of writing. How to overcome Chinese thinking is an important issue that should be considered in the current teaching of English writing.
